In 2010, according to USAid, the total number of orphans worldwide is projected to reach 44 MILLION! Just in the State of Arizona, there are thousands of children in the foster care system waiting for a "forever" family.
Jesus commands... "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Jesus welcomed children with open arms setting the model for us as to how to welcome children.

In February of 2004, Journey Church was opened to help people fall in love with God and to love others. When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus said, to love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves. With this in mind, our values are to have a passion for God, connect with people regardless of their past, and to help people progress on their spiritual journey.
Journey meets on Sundays at 9:00 & 10:30 am in the Auditorium at Liberty High School, which is located at 97th Avenue & Deer Valley Road. Journey Church is a casual, contemporary, Christian church that exists to help you take your next steps towards Jesus Christ.
